Should I take the SPCA out of my will?.
That is the very reason my company and a few others quit helping a local charity. We found out 80% of the money was going for salaries that were upper mid 6 and 7 figures per year. We as a company couldn't in good consciousness continue to ask our employees to make concessions to their salary to help out the massive salaries of the charity. -
My wife keeps telling me the first part (of the meme below)...
She hasn't suggested beer before, though -- so I sent her a copy, too.

Those salaries are despicable for a non-profit. Unless that is some multi-billion $ organization with lots of moving parts, there is no way that kinda money is justified for that many "Senior VPs"

This is a $370mil (2022) charity. No effing way!
My Program manages a $470 mil govt trust fund and we have salaries topping at maybe $250K for our Division Director, who also oversees 700+ employees and at least 8 other Programs (with other funding sources).
Our actual Program Manager makes less than $150K.
So, yeah, those salaries are obnoxious.
