Dane,
I might be interested in your offer here, more on the storage vs. looking at them. I was thinking of taking the car for the weekend. I would have to get a trailer to haul them home and it would be better to make arrangements later, I won't have any place to part a trailer where I will be staying.
I think I will probably be in Minneapolis the weekend after this coming one also.
Thanks
Cory
Cory don't take for granted that this person is going to hold on to them that long! I'm sure if someone shows up with a grand, she would give them right up. -

Kinda high--but if they are mint, and you've got the money--I'd still offer less,,say 375.00 and go from there,as if you want to really get em to sing, you've got upgrade costs somewhere on the horizon.Good luck, let us know how it turns out--don't know of any member selling them.JC approves....he told me so. I'm guessing they are Jax3822's, if so he's a good guy to deal with.

I agree with Mike - may be Jax's. I bought my Sony's off of him, and remember him talking about his 2B's and possibly getting rid of them in the future. I would do business with him in a second.

So the little dots on the drivers should be on the top? Does it matter? Don't forget, I know very little about SDA:o

The Polk writing should be on the bottom of the driver in the cabinet.
Those in the picture are upside down. I have heard some crazy 80's stories about Polk but I don't believe they ever installed the drivers upside down or sideways.
Also check the phillips screw head. Sometimes you will see the paint chipped off. Again, another sign they have been removed for whatever reason. -
When I Dynamatted my MWs I didn't pay attention as to whether they were upside down or not when I reinstalled them. I just made sure the lugs were on the proper side of the wiring i.e., positive vs negative. As it happens, the "little dots" where the dust caps are, are all in the 6:00 position.
The pics of those 2.3 TLs makes me wonder if he has those couple of drivers that are upside down, and the one that is sideways "little dots" at 9:00, is wired out of phase or if he just twisted the wires around. -
