Hello Folks,
A pair of these are available below market value.
CraigsList # 1733647145
Rare! Polk Audio Top of the line Speakers, Original Owner, Solid Oak, Stereo Review Rated "The Dream System" in 1988 do a google search for more info. Serious Inquires Only call 570.350.3000 for Showing or more info.
HUGE CLASSIC SOUND! IF YOU KNOW POLK AUDIO THIS IS SOME OF THE BEST EQUIPMENT HE MANUFACTURED.
These are the BIG ONES! MSRP was $3,000 back in 1988. 63-3/4" H x 21" W x 13" D; 185 pounds.
While these speakers are designed for high fidelity music reproduction and excel at that, they would work wonderfully as front speakers for a Home Theater system too! Notice they are only 13 inches deep, so they could look great on either side of a big flat screen, -- with full-range response!
Functionally fine, with some cosmetic flaws, including grill cloth wear/stains on the sides, wear on the wood corners and some pinholes in the speaker rims. Some TLC with fine steel wool and wood polish would make these beautiful again.
More info, including links to reviews, here: http://www.polkaudio.com/homeaudio/products/srs/

I AM SAD TO PART WITH THESE BUT AM MOVING AND NEED TO DOWNSIZE. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY AS THESE BABIES ARE HUGE AND EACH ONE WEIGHS 185 POUNDS!
Each 63.75" x 21 x 13 cabinet contains 8 Polk 6.5" trilaminate-polymer drivers, a planar 15" sub-bass radiator, 4 Polk 1" Silver Coil polyamide dome tweeters and an incredibly complex and sophisticated Isophase crossover system. One of the unique features of the crossover is the progressive variation of the high frequency high-pass circuitry which maintains virtual point source operation resulting in wide horizontal and vertical dispersion. Power handling is nominally rated at 1000 watts per channel, although the high efficiency of the system allows superb performance to be realized with even the most moderately powered receiver. Bass performance is, in a word, breathtaking. The use of 8 small active drivers coupled to the large 15" sub-bass radiator results in extraordinarily tight, quick and three dimensional mid and upper bass combined with low and sub-bass capabilities which are staggering (clean output at 25 Hz exceeds 100db!) An elaborate bracing system is employed resulting in a remarkably rigid cabinet which virtually eliminates colorations due to panel resonances. Separate inputs for high and low frequency sections of the system allows bi-wire or bi-amp operation without the need for a separate electronic crossover. The speakers are beautifully finished in oiled oak and walnut.

You don't make this very easy - I might have to keep the 2.3tl pair, too, then. I was lucky enought to land the SRS pair.

There is a pair of 1.2 listed on eBay. Something must be wrong with the speakers or the seller to not have one single bid placed.

For those with deep pockets and long arms. These were listed with a complete Yamaha system a couple of days ago on CL for the same price. This guy is "flipping gear".

I'm thinking SDA/SRS 2s. Check out the picture of the label on rear, it reads, "SDA Signature Reference System 2. -
Where the heck are they getting the "CRS" for those 1s? -

I didn't think they were SRS 2's because the tweeter and driver placement is different than what I thought they normally look like. -
