Yep they are 2.3's, Original Owner, has the box's. they are in like new condition. For $500
It's one of those situations that is hard to pass up... He is holding them for me till Thursday night.. He took down the craigslist ad for me as well.. -

Larry, I asked Jesse if there was any way to modify 2.3s to get them to 2.3TL status. Goofy me doesn't remember his reply but I wonder if Ben could perform some miracle to them although IIRC the configuration of the MWs is different on the 2.3s. -

It can't be done, well I should say it would be a dumb idea to even spend the money to do so..
If I get them and keep them I would just redo the crossovers and new tweets.. -
Kinda funny how these good SDA deals end up being not so good, cuz we throw the asking price into them with mods!
Don't get me wrong, I love the sound of these speakers modded. But there goes getting your investment back! -

Joe cant remember who did it but it cost them WAY over the price of just getting the 2.3 TL's.
Since I have the 2.3's I wish it could be done but sadly not cheap, at all. -

Agreed but the seller knew enought to post a thread from this forum showing the Stereo Review article on SDA/SRS.
