It might get as cold as 18 tonight.....we've seen 17 already here in S.A. and certainly not as cold as you negative boys. The coldest I've ever experienced was during a TDY in Alaska during Jan....minus 30, yes sir, that was chilly alright....

Was 80 degrees here yesterday. It's currently 32 degrees and very windy at 2:30pm. Snow to begin around 6:00pm tonight. Funny watching trucks spraying de-icer on the streets yesterday in 80 degree temp.

Yep! It’s 75, here, at this moment and the low is expected to be 20 tonight! Don’t think they’re calling for any precip, though!

The weather is yellow here. Pollen, pollen, pollen everywhere. Pines, oaks, you name it. Expecting rain tonight so that will wash it away for a while.

We don't have any snow left. The geese are 2-3 weeks early. I'm wondering if we'll beat our first swim of the year, earliest was April 26.
Motorbikes out in December and saw one yesterday. Crazy here

    Thanks Drew.

So far, for a bunch of days ago, Debby's Rain bands came up towards me and then they split. It's been like Wilm. NC was off limits.

Over and over, we hardly got any rain at all. :) but then night before last we got 1". Then last night till now 1.25".

The ground is soaking it up so far.

The rain IS coming down pretty hard right now and from the radar, it looks like for a few more hours.

I guess Debby is finally going to get to dump on us now. :#

Last night we had a pretty bad storm. I woke up to my driveway covered in someone's lawn clippings , mulch and trash. The Street had stuff everywhere and I spent some time after I got home today cleaning it up.

    Kinda sucked

An hour or so after Drew wished us a safe ride, Debby has slapped our faces pretty hard.

It's proving to be a Hurricane remnant that still has power.

There were Tornado warnings West of us for while there. It's where Tornado usually happen during Hurricanes. No news if any formed though.

    My rain gauge now shows...4 5/8". :o

Sometime after 9pm, I'll dump it as it reaches the top 5" mark and start over.

@machone , 9"... Damn that's a lot. I remember Floyd or Bertha poured 7" over a week's time and that was like a Monsoon for the week.

Well, we're up to 8" this morn. at 8am and the rain is to continue some more today. :s

The wind gusts come and go. Nothing scary high yet though. But maybe some super strong gusts came through while I've slept off and on.

Some gusts are STRONG. One of my neighbor's Pecan trees had a 10' branch break off near the top of his tree and fall on his backside roof. The Pecan trees are loaded with GREEN Pecans right now and man are they heavy. I'm sure other Pecan trees will sustain damage too.

Many years ago, my giant Pecan tree was LOADED with Green pecans and a Hurricane hit. We lost some branches and a ton of Pecans that year. I think it was the year we lost our tree to a second Hurricane a month later due to saturated ground.

I bought this house partly because of the huge Pecan tree in the back yard. We have Pecan trees all around here in Wilmington NC.

I thank God we still have power! It's blinked a few times the past couple of days and 2 of them were hard off and back on ones.

It's POURING!! rain right now and the bands of rain still come and go... :#

Upstate SC - Lots of flooding, trees down that are blocking roads. The worst seems to have passed but the rains will continue to wreak havoc with widespread flooding....of which all of that water will be headed down state....which is already drenched. Winds weren't that bad.

Thousands are reported to be without power. No issues at the homestead. The rig is unplugged at the moment, as a precaution.
