Hmm, it sounds as if you're driving from Jax? I was planning on flying since it's only about $270 roundtrip at this time. Joe, if you get the time off what did you have in mind?

PolkFest - we're working on it.

September will be here in a blink and we are working on plans for PolkFest. Over the next few weeks, I'll be passing along the agenda and additional details. As we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary, I can promise this Polkfest will be special.

The festivities will start at our Baltimore headquarters at 10 am on Friday, September 21st where there will be tours, demos, peaks behind the curtain, etc. You can get as geek as you want. And as a special bonus, you will have the opportunity to abuse Patrick in person. If you have the stomach for more, the party gets serious on Saturday at a yet to be named location.

If you're looking for places to stay, Toni has put a hold on a block of 25 rooms at the Hilton Pikesville. Dates held are 9/20, 9/21, 9/22 and 9/23. The rate is $120.00. You can call and book yourself. Mention "Polk Audio/Polk Fest" and ask to book under the room block for September. Rooms will be held until Sept 6th.

    1726 Reisterstown Road
    Pikesville, MD 21208

If you have ideas or suggestions to help make this more special, let me know.

    WOOOT!

I'm planning on this, got the week off and will just have to book the room and flight.

Can't wait to see everyone that I haven't been able to meet in person yet.

I like when I tell people I'm going to Polkfest...they are like Polk? and then they stop asking questions...

anyone in the WI area want to fly with me? I was prob going to fly out of Milwaukee or Chicago depending on what will be a better rate.

Well last week brought forth an issue that will probably prevent me from attending PF... I shouldn't have hopped on the band wagon so soon.

Needless to say I'm frustrated but it's out of my control.

If Stu is not in town, we'll run the video. But I am hoping for his live performance which is side-splitting.

for those people who have never been to a PolkFest.. do not miss it. you will kick yourself in the arse once you see and hear how much fun you missed out on. Sept is way far away still.. so plan accordingly. Unless you're attending a funeral (your own) you don't want to miss PF12
