My point was...do people actually want NO screening before getting on an airplane??? And if there was no screening, and then another plane went down, then everyone would be too SCARED to do any bitching about the screening, just as FEAR played such a huge role on the public mindset post 9/11....now we are stuck with the largest government agency ever.
I guess the common sense solution to all these terrible infringements on my rights as an American is to not allow young Muslims to fly at all. Just think of the cost savings alone!

There have been metal detectors for as long as I can remember. There are also dogs that sniff out bombs and drugs. That should be sufficient.

There are many ways to deter bad things from happening, but taking peoples rights away, and virtual strip searches aren't at the top of the list as far as effectiveness is concerned.

No. No one in their right mind wants no screening. No one has said that, and you know it. Look up "straw man argument" then re-read that moronic comment.

The world is not black and white. The options aren't only "no screening at all" or "invasive, possibly humiliating, possibly cancerous screenings." Especially when the freakin' head of the TSA says that everything they've done has amounted to ZERO in the efficacy department.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Hardly the only thing linked to with adult language posted on this forum and sufficient warning was given. Absolutely no reason to pull the entire post.
Security FAIL: Mythbuster Says He Passed TSA Scan With 12-Inch Razor Blades

Since airport security horror stories seem to be the prevalent news item at the moment, Eyeblast released this video Tuesday which shows Adam Savage speaking to an audience at an event called wOOtstock 2.0 in Seattle last May. Savage, of Mythbusters fame, claims that he accidentally passed through one of the new controversial full-body scanners carrying two “12-inch razor blades.”

Content warning: contains some graphic language.

What's next, roadblocks? Hopefully when Obama is gone we can get rid of crap like her and her personal vendetta against freedom.
