If you watched the Trudeau clip (you complained about) you would have noticed that he told the bleeding hearts to continue to bleed. Classic. Well that was 40 years ago in a different country under different circumstances, but the statement can still stand today, can't it? Where are our leaders?

That said, isn't it the right of the downtrodden to be hypocritical?

I've never heard anyone complaining about paying citizens more than $2/hr.
Where was that reported - on MSNBC? If that is the case, I missed it.

Mark, you didn't have to take a shot with the "you complained about" statement. I thought the Trudeau clip was very eye opening and remember what he about "letting the bleeding hearts bleed." I feel the same way. I just thought it didn't belong there with all the other links.

Secondly making my statement about the $2/hour was just an exaggerated example of what I've learned on conservative talk radio and other sources said about far righties complaining about. I'm a conservative, which you already know, but you have to admit some of our far right brethren really do only care about big business as they think that that and that alone will solve most of our problems as long as government doesn't get in the way.

It is the same as saying that the far lefties want huge government so as to take care of the American people downtrodden or not, whether we like it or not.

    Hello,
We try and keep Club Polk and the Forum free from political discussions. This thread seems as though it is becoming that way. If everyone's made their point and nothing much new can be added, how about we close it down?
Thanks for keeping the discussion civil.
