Re: Post a picture.....any picture...part deux...
The poor old Nimitz was supposed to be retired already, but due to the shipping challenges around the Arabian peninsula and delays in getting the Ford Class sea/battle ready, it has been put off until at least 2027.
Interesting read about the JS Kaga. It went from being a destroyer with helicopters to a small carrier that can launch the F35B!

Yesterday: In real head-turner, 3 aircraft carriers sail out of San Diego Bay in one day
The USS Nimitz, USS Carl Vinson and JS Kaga were on different missions during a period of change in the military.

Re: NEW RECEIVER
Great!
I'm still digging my RZ50, watched DP3 last nigh, just amazing what they have done with these new AVR's. I'm still running it with all room correction off.
The RZ50 is an awesome AVR. I suggest using the DIRC or ACCU EQ. When done properly, it will help with room reflections, timing and EQ curves that need to be adjusted depending on your room.
At first it might not sound right as without running room EQ, your listening to reflections, most likely bass that is to heavy and certain frequency boosted or canceled.

Re: NEW RECEIVER
A decade ago it took some of the manufacturers a while to figure out the audio/video processing circuits needed proper heat management inside the metal box when they went to 4K switching capability. But I still have a couple of Pioneer Elite receivers from that era that never have failed.

Re: Anyone using Kratom?
Generally any state with a coastal port. Customs will cease it. It's a tree in the coffee family. No psychoactive compounds, just alkiloyds similar to opiates. It's like taking a triple espresso, a Percocet and a Viagra. But as with any consumable, test in small doses with food. Anybody can be allergic to anything these days.

Re: Anyone using Kratom?
Been taking it for years for chronic pain. Works as good as opiates without the side effects and addiction. I buy mine by the kilo straight from the source.
