    Note to self and maybe help others. Tested the continuity, and the Neutrik male NL2 whips I have on hand match the female NL4 (for new terminal plates). The "Pin" being 1+ and the "Blade" being 1- respectively....

    I'm ecstatic to say the least after running sweep tests. The questionable 6511 is staying dead center at clearly over max excursion. I'd never play these that loud, but by eye sight I can see the cone base traveling a quarter inch or more both ways...

    Best vid I could do. This is after I turned volume down on amp too. Ran about 20 cycles on all drivers.The pop is in the bass tone recording at end.
    I believe a factory driver would have over extended and crashed the coil on the base plate...

    Only thing I could work on today.
    Large upright belt sander cleaned up overhang of attached piece. Thick coat of flat white primer, then smokey beige hides the frame under the grill cloth nicely.
    I'll lightly Dremel the peg holes out like I did for the first one, then attach cloth...

    All joking aside, I did tidy up the X-over adapter. The M4 standoffs were ideal (props to @pitdogg2)
    I had to redrill the plate to move one over to an adjacent hole because the original was too close to the pin terminal plastic housing to fit the nylon nut even.

    Added damping foam front(under compression) to back (1/8" PVA) so no vibes will rear their ugly head.
    I'll simply have to drill the factory location to 5/16" so the barrel nut is self-guided thru the rear baffle....

    Speaking of bacon, that is hardly enough. :) I don't like to cook it inside, so I do it on the grill. I do 3 pounds with the hope of freezing some but only come in with one pound. I'm like that beggin strips dog.

    Got one done. Had to dremel each slot corresponding to where Polk drilled each PR attachment hole. A couple were slightly off from each other. Joy...
    I can't see the black PR thru it was goal...

    Was on fence, so went with @VR3 suggestion for magnet attachment since I'll be listening to them with grills off most the time. Polk relied HEAVILY on the larger plastic grill pegs compression as their drilling/matching of grill holes to baffle peg centers were also not accurate.

    3/8" cylindrical neodymiums glued in countersurface by @1/8 depth so I can fill and hide them.

    Just remembered why I preferred metal shop over wood shop. A lot of prep work. I decided to give them a 1/16" round over for looks and better paint adhesion.

    Takes a couple hours to fully dry being water based, but equivalent to bondo on hardness I remember...

    Not needed here, but a set of reinforcement semi-rings would only need to go left/right top of the MWs in any CRS without a brace.
