Make Britain great again? Then it would be Great Britain. Oh, it is already. Sorry, must be time for more medication.

Technically, Great Britain is an island, geographically speaking. The United Kingdom is a nation. The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Really? I had no idea. -

Here’s what will really boggle some peoples minds…
It’s not called Great Britain because it is (or was) great. It’s because it is “Grande Bretagne” in French, as opposed to “Bretagne”, which designates the Brittany area of France… or “Little Britain”, as it were.
So in this case, great just means big, as in the bigger of the two. 🤔
CQFD.
Sure. That's just what the Germans want you to believe 🤔

That was my first thought... but then I was thinking it's the Lousiana Purchase rendered in beef.
Or maybe just the Southeast US -- geometry geophagy geography was never my best thing.

So true!

What would happen, hypothetically speaking, if one were to trim a cat's whiskers down to around half or quarter of an inch? Would they then consume a wider ring of food?
I suppose a small saucer might do the trick without whisker mods. Or a really shallow bowl?I disabled signatures. -
As a cat owner, I can say, it wouldn't matter. They see a bowl that's not visibly full, they start crying. Shallow bowls help them eat more comfortably, but it doesn't change their begging behavior.
