    It was 68. And it rained all day yesterday.
    That's when the turtles come out. This one
    was only about 3 inches across. Better than
    a yard full of snakes. The cat did kill one of those
    last week. He really wanted to go out and mess with
    this guy.

    My parents had a dog who like to flip toads on their backs and watch them. When they'd right themselves and start to hop away, he would pick them up and do it all over again. If they played dead, he would nudge them with his nose to keep the game going.
