I have been looking at buying a 5 tier stand from timber nation. Seems like really good quality for the price.

Yeah, their items are not bad for the price. I’m happy with what I got from them.

It took between three weeks and a month for them to get the stands to me. I thought that was pretty good considering they probably make their products upon receiving the order.

Ordering on their website is kind of lightweight per se, as I don’t ever remember receiving a receipt or any acknowledgment of them receiving the order. I think I paid through PayPal, so I was covered by that. But I later called them and they confirmed the order. All in all, the deal worked out quite well. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from then again.

Started the process of gathering components for a very likely second internal re-wire of the 2.3 TL. I might go point-to-point on the crossover, but that's probably at a later date.

Thank you @VR3 for the 2nd set of binding plates.

I was able to luckily source 60' of AQ GO-4 (30' pair)
which came to only $4.50 per foot, but as a speaker cable set...hate to lose the silver spades but I'm after the raw wire.

The current wire is Cardas Litz and that may come up for sale including the binding plate. Wires are currently soldered but retain the factory molex connectors.

Added Pangea Pico Sorbothane footers for my TubeDac III.

These come with transparent plastic discs to protect one’s audio rack.

The larger circumference end somewhat sticks to the gear it is supporting, but easily detaches.

Pack of 4 was approx. $30.

    Not 2 channel, maybe 3.1, but I swapped out the old 60" 1080p Panasonic ST60 plasma for a 65": Sony A80J OLED.

Would be great to hear a bit of comparison if you wouldn’t mind.

I still have a Panny plasma, but OLED is intriguing.

I installed my Ortofon 2M Bronze I got from Troy today on my RT85.

Nice improvement in sound compared to the Ortofon Blue. Bass seems better and overall clearer sound.

On March 12 I popped a pair of new tubes in my preamp. Other than doing a quick comparison with an existing pair for about an hour, I haven’t touched anything. I think this is a new record for me.

Been a while since I checked the drivers on my 1.2's. Was thinking things sounded a little off balance favoring the left channel and a slight drop in clarity, so removed the felts and went after all the drivers while I semi-watched a movie last night. Sure enough, regardless of the new xschop rings and tweeter bezels installed last year, they needed a spring cleaning (re-torque). The universe is back in balance and, as we all know, sometimes it's the simple stuff. It did make a difference.
