I think the issue is again, most of this gear is on consignment... so they probably reached out to the owner and now are waiting for a response. There is also a chance the owner has no idea!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Man, now that I have one Tri Vista....I want another one for the Amazings.....I plan for the future. - F1Nut

How would you select this awesome input.
The intrigue and wonder continues- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
You just crank the input select knob extra hard.

I'm REALLY thinking about it....BUT, I'd have to sell/ship the A1008 which is a PITA in and of itself.

I heard they are releasing a Quad-Vista soon, why don't you hold out for that one?
-
Indeed, the Quad-Vista comes with the extra jacks, standard. They're both red, though.I disabled signatures.

From Ben
"I did hear back from the testing team earlier today. they did some research for you and weren't able to find any more information regarding the extra RCA jacks, they recommended reaching out to the manufacturer to see if they had anything in their records based on the serial number"
So they do not know. I will try to email Musical Fidelity. -
I like TMR, but that's kinda lame IMO. I mean, maybe the 'testing team' could actually do a little 'testing', and figure it out. Maybe pop the hood and take a look?"This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

What a joke. The replies from TMR sounds like a bunch of kids that are out of their element.

Yeah we suggested that four days ago Marvin, try to keep up.
-
If it is tied to the output, who did the work? Why are both RCA's white? If it was someone like ModWright or Cullen, I probably wouldn't think twice about it but, if it was Gary from up the street in Wisconsin, NO!
No offence to anyone named Gary who does modifications but, on a piece like this, I am not comfy with a backyard DYI. -
-
Yeah, daisy chaining outputs beyond the manufactures spec... meh
I highly doubt it is an input- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Hello, what are the white RCAs next to the pre-out for?
Those are an upgrade - professionally installed preamp outputs. This has two sets of preamp outs.
This is the reply to my question on the Audiogon listing. -
I sent an email to TMR and got this response today:
Hi Harry, those are an extra set of preamp outputs. They do appear to be aftermarket, but they were so professionally installed, that our techs assumed they were stock. I hope that's helpful. Very nice integrated.

Yeah. I’ve bought and traded a couple of items with/from TMR but I would be out on this one. Surprises me on the replies. Sadly, this casts a little shade on TMR...at least for customized items."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

I have zero experience with TMR or the Tri Vista. Apologies to those tempted by my post... I had no idea there was anything amiss. The Gear...
