Probably just waiting on a less observant prospect to scoop it up without questions.

I just sent an email asking about them as well, I think if they get enough emails asking about them maybe we can get an answer to why they are there...

Heck they don't even know. It's right now in pieces running down the circuit.

I just asked a public question on the Audiogon listing. They know it exists so they can at least be transparent in the add.

I think the issue is again, most of this gear is on consignment... so they probably reached out to the owner and now are waiting for a response. There is also a chance the owner has no idea!

I'm REALLY thinking about it....BUT, I'd have to sell/ship the A1008 which is a PITA in and of itself.

I heard they are releasing a Quad-Vista soon, why don't you hold out for that one?

Indeed, the Quad-Vista comes with the extra jacks, standard. They're both red, though.

    From Ben
"I did hear back from the testing team earlier today. they did some research for you and weren't able to find any more information regarding the extra RCA jacks, they recommended reaching out to the manufacturer to see if they had anything in their records based on the serial number"

So they do not know. I will try to email Musical Fidelity.

I like TMR, but that's kinda lame IMO. I mean, maybe the 'testing team' could actually do a little 'testing', and figure it out. Maybe pop the hood and take a look?

What a joke. The replies from TMR sounds like a bunch of kids that are out of their element.

Are they sure it's an input? It's next to the pre output and could be tied to it.

If it is tied to the output, who did the work? Why are both RCA's white? If it was someone like ModWright or Cullen, I probably wouldn't think twice about it but, if it was Gary from up the street in Wisconsin, NO!
No offence to anyone named Gary who does modifications but, on a piece like this, I am not comfy with a backyard DYI.

Yeah, daisy chaining outputs beyond the manufactures spec... meh

I highly doubt it is an input

Hello, what are the white RCAs next to the pre-out for?
Those are an upgrade - professionally installed preamp outputs. This has two sets of preamp outs.

This is the reply to my question on the Audiogon listing.
