Thanks guys! Dumb question, does $225 sound reasonable if the MW's aren't siezed? These are a 300 mile drive round trip if I go for it. A fun spring restoration project!

Ask him for more pics of the front (with grills off) and pics of the rear. $225 could be a good price depending on what model they are.

They always kind of looked cool to me but no way I would buy them for my use.

Yeah I think I'll pass, more so because my Yamaha's 100 wpc would have to be replaced with a high dollar unit to drive these. I've actually been on the hunt for some M 7's or RTA 11's to replace my rebuilt M 5's which aren't bad with a sub. Just want a little more sound to fill 500 sq. feet.

Good call, they are 4ohm speakers and ride at about 3ohm most of the time. They are very demanding of current. -

these look to be in great condition. I think that they are the silver basket ones.
I would love to get them, but the wife would kill me.
