    Had to go the Urgent Care clinic yesterday for a scratch on back of hand that had swollen and was very red. Wolfgang drew the blood two days ago. Five days of antibiotics for me.

    Sorry to hear about this. :#

    Does Wolfgang go out side?

    Exactly !! All kinds of gremlins in that festival of fun... Then they come out and walk on your table and countertop...
    The two cats that owned me learned quickly I don't play that game.

    Remind me to tell you all the bittersweet tale of Sparesie (The Spare Cat) some time. Sparesie adopted us when we lived in MA. At the time, we already had a cat -- the redoubtable Griswold -- thus his nickname. His given name was Gingivere (from the Redwall series, courtesy of our daughter).

    Hint: his eyes aren't closed in the photo above... by that point in his life, he didn't have any. And that's just the start of his tail tale.

    Sweet cat, but "lucky" isn't an adjective one would use to describe him. :|

    So true!!! I probably have a couple hundred to keep track of. Many now want you to change them every 60-90 days. Can't repeat any words used in the last three passwords....

    Tony, he does not go outside.

    He got me in two places. One place on the wrist bone of left hand really bled. The other scratch was on the back of same hand; it did not bleed one drop. The injury that did not bleed seemed to be the problem.

    Thanks for the info.

    What you just described might be similar to what happened to one of our cats. Here's why;

    A long time ago...one of our cats got into a fight outside. A couple of days later, he was not himself at all. Took him to the vet.

    The vet said he had an infection on his back.

    The vet said he had a few wounds and that's why he was infected. It seems bacteria like to have 2 or more wounds to interact with.

    Maybe your 2 wounds close to each other created an environment our vet described to us years ago. :|

    Next time squeeze it to bleed some to get that bacteria out. Then wash the snot out if it and toss on some peroxide or alcohol.

    We used to trim our cats nails down and dull them a bit. Our cat had a full compliment of little razors. After a while neither minded to trim they could still grab stuff pretty good.

    I agree, the TC 770 is one of the nicest looking decks made, so clean and simple looking. The triple 7 is a beauty also, I love the lower knobs.
