    There was a football player at the University of Georgia who played linebacker in the 60's (see below). I remember UGA games on TV when announcers such as Keith Jackson had a difficult time saying his name. He was always referred to by his nickname and last name.

    There is another interesting story involving Author Lewis Grizzard who was enrolled at UGA at the same time. He was a a 20-year-old newspaper writer in Athens who used the upcoming football game with the South Carolina Gamecocks and the possibility "Happy" would miss the game as an opportunity to create an unusual headline.

    these two did gyre and gambol :) around over the back yard this morning. Way over the back yard, but over it indeed. Even with a long telephoto lens, they were still kinda small in the frame. Still cool to see 'em on a gorgeous early-fall morning.
