Pair of Monitor 10s for parts, sold individually:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Polk-Audio-Monitor-10-Model-Serial-62128/174012890339
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Polk-Audio-Monitor-10-Model-Serial-62127-Read-Description/174012896137

One is fully functional, the other one has a blown tweeter and torn surround on the PR. Located in NYC area, or can be shipped.

I have sent the seller a couple messages and he has been very responsive. He was going to send me some better pictures soon of the individual drivers, but they appear to be silver basket MW6500s.

A very nice pair of Monitor 7's. I think these might belong to someone here.

The speakers are really close to me at about 6.5 miles, but I don't know anyone that close who posts on the Polk Forum.

(History Note: I live off of Post Oak Tritt. The "Tritt" in the Road name is of the "Travis Tritt" Family. About two miles west on the above map is a large parcel of land where the Tritt Family settled in Cobb County. The land was sold and developed in the 80's and 90's. Running through the development is Tritt Homestead Drive with an updated version of the original farm house as a community center. When I moved to this area in 1971, there were only 4 or 5 developments in all of East Cobb county. Many times as I drove to work in the spring months of the early 70's where the original farm house stood, I saw the older members of the Tritt family working in their garden. A one lane bridge on Post Oak Tritt caused many problems every Saturday night. Cobb County is crowded now of course. )

    Mike,
No, according to the media he lives in Hiram GA which is about 23 miles west. It is still somewhat rural but growing fast.

I grew up about 40 miles west of Marietta GA.

Great deal here and they look to be in nice condition. I would be all over them if they were on the East Coast (I am in NY) as I have been looking for a pair of 2.3TLs for quite sime time. It seems that any 2.3TLs that pop up for sale lately are on the West Coast. Hope a Western Polkie can grab these.

I just picked these up. He did have the original boxes. He was the original owner with receipts in hand. Very nice guy. The speakers are in good condition and although they I was not able to demo them I doubt they are damaged in any way.

Now, I need to stay away from this thread for a while....

    Done.

I am about to move to Pax River MD and I was happy to get them here before the move as this area seems to have a very good second hand market.

$1500 is a price that would pique my interest for those SRS's if I was a little closer. 8 hour drive each way would be a bit much without a stayover. Those 10's look very early.

I agree to a point. Are you in the Asheville area? Seems to be very few audio people these days especially in the South. Hell here in SC I only know of a handful of audio shops in the whole state. Must people buy the big box stores newest thing or pay $$$$ for the newest thing all set up.

    Rookie.

I earned my merit badge when I was 23 and I drove from NJ to Littleton, CO straight through in 33 hours with a cooler full of fried chicken and beer and a pocket full of nodoz.

PS: the beer was for when I got there.

Just guessing, but what was her name?

I did something similar from Memphis to New Haven CT when I was in training for the Navy. 22 hours each way for a 4 day weekend. Good times.

So you remember Millington too, Goat?

Many fond memories there. Not long after I graduated "A School" NATTC Millington closed. Aviation schools were transplanted to Pensacola and Millintgon became the on stop shopping for Navy Personnel Command.
