It's so good I will post it again.

I've read lately about the lenses that are putting everything in focus in a picture - sometimes improvements are not improvements.

There's nothing as beautiful as the depth of field used as you did.

What type of camera did you use?

Thanks for the kind comments I appreciate them. I'm using a Nikon D750 with a 60mm auto-focus lens. My wife says this plant blooms every three years and the blooms only last for three days.

My neighbor had a bush she called a burning bush and yes it bloomed every 3 yrs and the blooms were gone in a few days. All her friends would ruminate around it when it bloomed. it was quite the hen party...

I believe the plant is the orange azalea and it requires several weeks of below 50 degree weather the winter before to bloom properly. Last year there were buds on all the branches but they never bloomed.

I added a new job skill to my CV this weekend. Son-in-law and I installed a couple of windows ab initio in the (unfinished) upstairs loft of their barn. We started with the back wall in case anything went wrong and/or the final product was really embarrassing. In fact, the install went very smoothly and the final result isn't bad. I, with chagrin, will take ownership of the amateurish appearance of the trim -- since I took the measurements (and installed the boards)! Might have to redo the trim some day -- or maybe not, since it is in the back :p We'll do better in the front, I promise! ;)

My brother found this one in VA. He’s picking up a 2017 ATS V with a stick in CT on Friday. They’re out there.

Are they already blooming this year for you or were these from last year? I'm in SC and ours are just now ready to start blooming.

The first generation CTS-V only came with manual trans. No auto option.

Nice, Ken. I would not have expected that, seeing as how you are two states up from me.
