I'll Soak them in water (some prefer salt water) in the sink to drive out the lil critters .
Cut them length wise, spray the insides and remove from the sink. Put on paper towels to drain.
Saute them in butter for 5-8 minutes. Enjoy!
One of a few found today.
You can also dredge them lightly in flour with a little salt and pepper before you sauté them in the butter.Family Room, Innuos Statement streamer (Roon Core) with Morrow Audio USB cable to McIntosh MC 2700 pre with DC2 Digital Audio Module; AQ Sky XLRs to CAT 600.2 dualmono amp, Morrow Elite Speaker Cables to NOLA Baby Grand Reference Gold 3 speakers. We had a little visitor in the garage this afternoon.
I was cuttin' up a box in which we'd brought some plants home from our county extension office on Friday, and this little dickens popped out.
Being a biologist, of course, I ran -- to get a camera & tape measure.
Mrs. H, for reasons I cannot fathom, does not like spiders. I keep tellin' her that they eat bugs and that spiders are our friends, but she's not buying it.

Kill it with fire!

Spider???

He, or she (or they -- not sure about spiders) was very cooperative while I set up the measuring tape & snapped a bunch of photos. I like the way the flash glinted off its eyes -- although in the picture I posted above, only one of them is really glinting

Shots fired, shots fired, Officer needs backup!
I'm N. Mississippi you could go out in the yard (we had a 3 acre lot)at night and shine a light into the grass and they would shine everywhere. 1,000s of them. Creeped me the *&#%$ out! I wanted to spray fuel on the whole property and burn it.
Dont know why but heights and spider are my kryptonite! -

Yes, but the gut spread after a proper stomping is the true measure. -
My son sent me this inspiring image earlier today (he hasn't offered an opinion on our arachnid fellow traveler so far*)
A photo of that reminds me of a Hunter S. Thompson quote:When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.
* He had a run-in with a similar spider a year or so ago down in VA. It was clearly stalking him at the time -- he did finally get it corralled and put it outside.

Does that spider bark by chance? -

Dunno. Didn't really spend a lot of time on ice-breakers, you know?

Where'd you get that photo? That's the super top secret Elon Musk Mars/Lunar manned rover. Note the Tesla recessed door handles (design flaw). Be careful doc. -

Remarkable. The internet has now fulfilled its ultimate purpose. It may be decommissioned now; there is no need for any further service on its part.

Are those small translucent pianos on the two front corners? That amp must have been owned by either Liberace or King Farouk.
