Me, too... It takes all four seasons to make the year.
I think my favorite is summer, though -- summer is brief but intense, and worth waiting for :)

Freaking gorgeous here this morning -- perfect fall morning. Just a kiss of frost :p
All of the long-weekend leaf peepers are being rewarded if they hung out 'til today :|

Your back 40 would be a splendid place for skeet shooting ;)
You may lose the pigeons in the backdrop.

I'm getting tired of spring, to be honest. It never seems to show up anymore. We go straight from frigid to hot...

Awe heck... our Lowes store put the Christmas decorations out in the middle of September... SEPTEMBER!!!

Following suit, you cannot buy summer clothes any later than May, and back to school shopping seems to start while the kids are still in school the previous year...

Actually, we were down in MA for much of that storm's sojurn off the South Shore -- it was pretty icky even well inland (relatively speaking).

Is that a little "ET" face "hood ornament" on the grille?
And what's up with the joint on that one bucket? Kinda looks like Santa!?!

    yln84ux1x0kp.jpg

... or do I just need more coffee this morning.

High visibility paint for the knuckle. I've seen crews take out trees, street signs etc when rotating the boom :#

The white cover is di-electric insulation for the hydraulic lines and exposed metal bits in and around the knuckle.

    Good times!

And the hood ornament is just cool...

    Mother Nature's last hurrah.

Winter Daises. We <3 em. We cut them to the ground after all the blooms have dropped off. They multiply underground throughout the winter and spring.
