Well all I can say it’s good to have back up equipment!
Had to put the VTL back into the main rig, as the Cary blew a fuse again today. Ugh.
Time to send it in for service. Maybe while I’m at it, go for the ultimate upgrade.

Probably blowing fuses because that rack isn't spiked.

I swapped out speaker cables. I replaced my Zu Libtecs with a pair of Anti Cables level 3. Running my Nola's, or Hornshoppe's the AC's sound wonderful. Not so with the Chartwells. The sound became very bloated in the low end, really fat and woolly. A quick change back to the Libtecs, and all is right with the world.See my profile for list of gear.

Dropped the Marantz UD7007 into the 2 channel to spin silver discs
just cuz' I never have. Analog out using the HDAM technology is like

Nothing! Well pondered my plan to swap the tube out of the Cary’s power supply, maybe tomorrow! In the meantime enjoying the VTL on the main rig!

That would chap my hide, considering the cost of the Cary.
BTW....hows that VTL holding up in comparison ? I know the 2 have a different sound sig., but that VTL is no slouch either in throwing out some musical tunes.HT SYSTEM-
