I pre-ordered it from Amazon on August 8, which ended up being the last day it was still available on Amazon. I received an e-mail from Amazon a week ago notifying me that it would arrive between Sept. 6-9. Hopefully, that is true and Amazon will not send another e-mail saying it is not available.

Also, I just checked Bull Moose's website and they have copies available in-store only so any Polkies in ME or NH should be able to pick up a copy at a Bull Moose Music location.

I am looking forward to the reviews from those who get it in the next day or two.

    Rock on!

Mine "shipped" about 24 hours ago but USPS tracking still says "Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item". Unless they skipped scanning it I don't see how it's going to get from TX to CO in one day.

No problem, if that's the case. Still have Tidal and I might consider buying the 96/24 files off HDTracks.

That’s the same situation I’m in with this order. I’m not too concerned. It’ll get here when it gets here.

Amazon always got us the new Harry Potter books on the delivery date promised. This shouldn’t be any different.

I've been watching the Qobuz site, they also sell 96/24 files directly. It also says, though, that it's available in 2 hours. It has been counting down too, I watched it go from 4 to 3 then 3 to 2.

I was going to buy this but I just realized something. I don't have a way to get data from my Pixelbook (USB C) to my hard drive (USB A). I need to get a converter or a USB C hard drive.

Oops. I meant Micro USB B to USB C. I don't have anything like that around.

    I need more listens.

It's good but I'm unsure about it after one listen. Usually that means I like it more and more after each listen.

I think my uncertainty is mainly because of Maynard's style of singing for the majority of the record.

About halfway though I was thinking Descending was going to be the biggest standout for me... and then Chocolate Chip Trip happened. Man that was fun!
I'm excited to listen to this all weekend. It completely lived up to the hype for me so far.

Bull Moose is a great independent music retailer. They are located in ME and NH and I believe they have 9 physical store in those 2 states. Although I have never been to their physical stores, I have bought quite a few things from their online site and have always been impressed by their selection, prices, and customer service.

Here is a link to their website:

Reliving my youth and the excitement of the 'release' of a new CD, I decided to hit our local Walmarts at midnight.

Man, the line to get back to electronics was SOOOO... non-existent. But, I was still a bit excited. The clerks were nice enough, but had no idea what I was talking about. With a little patience, and exploring the stock room lockers, they were able to find some copies. Each store had two. I bought two copies at the one store with the intent of opening one, and keeping one sealed as a, well, sealed copy.

Since I was still 'awake', I drove the 7 minutes to the Walmart on the other side of town (yeah... we need two stores...). I picked up the two copies they had as well thinking if anyone here didn't get a preorder and would like a copy now (without paying double the price on the 'Bay) I'd offer them here.

Not trying to make anything off of them, just passing on a couple copies for my cost. So, anyone interested in a brand new, sealed copy, shoot me a PM. Price will be what I paid, plus actual shipping. I would think shipping will be low since it qualifies for Media Mail. Trying to stick with the rules of selling here, click the link below for the post in the Flea Market:

Good on ya Al! And, if no one here wants them, go make a buck or two on eBay. Just remember that the Bay will take a 30% cut for the trouble of hosting your item.
