    I missed the pre-orders, but for gits and shiggles clicked the link to Walmart pre-order a couple pages earlier and it said my local Walmart stores have 'limited stock' for in-store purchase only. A quick call confirmed that they do have a couple on hand that they'll put out tomorrow. I may stop in tonight (if I'm up) and grab one or two copies. I don't think it's a hot item, since 1) It's a college town, and 99% of students stream their music, and the 1% who buy physical media spin vinyl; and 2) It's Walmart... their typical customers are not necessarily the die-hard Tool fans!

    Does the new album have a parental advisory rating? I ask because I remember for ages Walmart would only sell censored versions of any album with a PA rating. Not sure if that’s still the case or if that applies here.

    Mine "shipped" about 24 hours ago but USPS tracking still says "Departed Shipping Partner Facility, USPS Awaiting Item". Unless they skipped scanning it I don't see how it's going to get from TX to CO in one day.

    No problem, if that's the case. Still have Tidal and I might consider buying the 96/24 files off HDTracks.

    I pre-ordered it from Amazon on August 8, which ended up being the last day it was still available on Amazon. I received an e-mail from Amazon a week ago notifying me that it would arrive between Sept. 6-9. Hopefully, that is true and Amazon will not send another e-mail saying it is not available.

    Also, I just checked Bull Moose's website and they have copies available in-store only so any Polkies in ME or NH should be able to pick up a copy at a Bull Moose Music location.

    I am looking forward to the reviews from those who get it in the next day or two.

    That’s the same situation I’m in with this order. I’m not too concerned. It’ll get here when it gets here.

    I've been watching the Qobuz site, they also sell 96/24 files directly. It also says, though, that it's available in 2 hours. It has been counting down too, I watched it go from 4 to 3 then 3 to 2.
