Now we just have to hope that Amazon doesn't over promise and under deliver. They have a habit of going "Oops, we sold too many preorders, some people will unfortunately not be getting a copy"

I just ordered it yesterday, when it still showed as available on Amazon, so hopefully I will get a copy. But, like you said, one never knows with Amazon.

I ordered it on Amazon the other day and the price did drop from $45 to $37. Pretty cool.

Tracklist came out. Kind of a bummer that the cd version isn't the full experience. Three segue tracks will be included in the download, but not the CD. If length is the issue I would have preferred a double disc. Maybe the songs have enough built in passages themselves to cleanse the palette, but those are typically pretty helpful with Tool cd's.

Yeah I've heard of their vineyard. One of my favorite places to go for a weekend escape is a couple minutes south of Jerome. Just funny to me seeing a small town in my home state as the location of their release party.

It is purdy up there though.

I know that when I skimmed through the reviews posted earlier, the reviewers only got to hear the CD version. That makes me think the material left off is more of a "director's cut" vs cutting down the album just for time. I'm still not really clear if those extra tracks are hitting streaming or not.

I've been mulling it over all day and I'm 95% sure I haven't been this excited for an album release since high school.

    Definitely a great release.
Their black album came out in my HS career and it was received with controversy
Although I love that album too.

I graduated in ‘92 but I remember Riki and the Headbangers Ball (theme song by Prong!). I discovered Alice In Chains on that show. Went out and bought the cassette tape the next day at Rolling Stones records in Norridge Illinois.

I loved the stop motion videos by tool. Totally bad a s s. Adam Jones worked for Rick Lazzarini’s Creature Shop before leaving to play music full time (I thought be was at Lucasfilm before leaving to play music).

    As did I ... God I miss Layne :'(

Good for them to occupy the top 10 and then some! It's been a long time coming(not that I stream anything) I think they have been severely underrated for a long time. I hope their new album smashes some records. (Pun intended)🤑
