Not sure why you think aluminum foil wrapped around the bolt head is going to prevent the steel bolt from affecting the toroidal's magnetic field.

It rained like crazy here to I was worried all day that if it showed up it would be soaked but it fit in our rather large mailbox with barley room to spare, surprised it did not tip over from the weight.

Thanks to all for making this happen. My heavy box appeared a couple days ago as well. Can’t wait to hear the new magic.
What is the preferred method of attaching the four wires to the two male spades of the Speakon?
Just twist them together and put them (2) in a female spade?
Sounds to easy so must not be correct.

Spades are adequate, but I would recommend soldering them (I will be soldering mine). However, you must be careful not to melt the plastic of the Speakon. Use high heat, good flux, and be quick.

If you are melting the speak on plastic you have it wayyyyy to hot and are hanging out way to long.

I have soldered some heavy duty wires on to speak ons with no issues.

So, skip the female spade and solder wires directly to spade.
    Got it.

Well after a few hours of listening i am sold on this purchase of the Dreadnought. For me i have noticed more depth, width and an increase of my bass & mid bass. The sound is really improved for the better.

I was going to go with a cut up MIT cable but, decided to use what i was originally using for an SDA cable. A Supra quad something or another. I wound up adding a jumper like i did when upgrading my 1C's so i am using all four connectors on the Neutric connector. An easy peasy job hooking up when using @DarqueKnight instructions. diqq5nc4u2uw.jpg

Also, Larry this box is da bomb. This just adds to the total package with great looks & build. Quality through & through. Thank You Larry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's up with the extra wire/connections?

Yes i read about what Trey had done in an old post about going the shotgun approach using the Supra Quad wire. That is what i had done when i did my 1C upgrades to replace the original pin/blade SDA wire.

Just a jumper between the not used Nuetric connectors. I liked the idea and have been happy with the Supra Quad shotgun SDA wire so instead of cutting up an MIT cable i just used another piece of the Supra Quad cable that i already had. Seems to be working great as i am very pleased with the way it turned out.

I know you told me how to do it Jesse but, i didnt jump on a For sale MIT cable when i had the chance. I snoozed and loosed!

    Help with DN cables needed!

I need to make new DN cables from MIT Terminator2's. Any tips? Leave the network interface boxes in place? If yes, do they go at the DN end? I cannot remember if I already ordered Neutriks - is there a particular part# I should look for or avoid? Other considerations?

    Thanks for any help,
    Craig
