It's that early morning light that you get when you leave the house at 6am for a morning drive and then make a stop somewhere at about 8am when the sun is coming up.
I'm familiar with it, as well as the feeling I get when I go out for a satisfying morning canyon carving session, and have a fantastic drive free of any traffic.
I think that's why I like the photo so much, because I've literally experienced the same thing that that owner has. -
For any of you who don't get cats, this exchange crystallizes the whole cat deal pretty well, I'd opine.

With large/tall tower speakers, is it a problem that a lot of the time the tweeter is going to be well above ear level when you're seated in front of them?

Well, it depends on the dispersion of the tweeter -- more to the point, of the whole loudspeaker system.
Some tweeters sound best from another room --- or maybe even in someone else's house. The venerable Electrovoice T35 fairly leaps to mind.
Tom Brennan famously quipped that the best positioning for Klipsch Heresys is face down, and ideally in a different room or domicile than that of their hapless owner.

As Mark suggested, depends on the dispersion pattern. A simple fix, if it bothers you, is to tilt the speaker forward by raising the back end an inch or 2 and see if that helps.
