Doesn't it though?
The food at McDonald's isn't simply "McDonald's". That's just retarded. -
I had a huge crush on a girl named Louise in high school. Man she was smoking hot!
Edit: middle school and high school. -
The food at McDonald's isn't simply "McDonald's". That's just retarded.
It's a well known colloquialism. "Haven't eaten McDonalds [food] for 14 years." Food is implied. Do you think I'm referring to the brick and mortar structure of the building that I haven't eaten?
To pointlessly nitpick apart my original statement over "incorrect" grammar really says something about you. -

To make the remark that you haven't eaten at McDonald's for 14 years so you wouldn't know what the trash cans look like says WAY MORE ABOUT YOU, which is why I was a dick. -
What just happened?

I like the looks of this setup:
Seen here: https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/ele/d/san-jose-klipsch-la-scala-pair-like-new/6803255513.html
FWIW -- I don't think you'd be very happy with the presentation afforded by LaScalas. Tom Brennan has famously likened them to the dulcet tones of a Skilsaw.
They're very aggressive in the treble and while they offer the dynamics of horn loaded bass, the enclosure is much too small to extend very deep, so they are lacking in low bass. They're fundamentally PA speakers (and were sold in utility cabinets as such).
If you want to go the broadband, all-horn-loaded route -- cut to the chase and get a pair of Klipschorns. Even the current production K-horns (even after a recent price increase) are pretty cost effective relative to modern audiophile loudspeakers.
They are ahem rather large, and the classic K-horns require corner placement to load them properly (there is a current version that includes an "artifical corner" and is
more flexible in placement) but hoo-boy, they can do dynamics. They're also highly tweakable. A whole cottage industry of "Heritage" Klipsch speaker improvements/tweaks grew up, and still exists.

This picture is from mid December last year but deserves a big laugh. Have you ever seen an emotional support animal on plane?

Quick sidenote: Emotional support peacock on a plane ?!?! If you have ever heard a peacock up close, then you'll vote for "Terrible Idea" in a survey.
They do make excellent watchdogs.Sal Palooza -

Perhaps, but I bet they would hold a lot of garbage and you could stack a whole lot of trays on them. -
Gotta warm this up!!

Anyone else watched the new Netflix documentary on Stanislav Szukalski?
Impressive genius. Tragic life. Unfortunately those two often go together.

off the top of my head, no -- some sort of transmitter triode. Lethal B+ (even compared to our usual, lethal B+ in DHT amps)
Just adds to the panache.

Hmmm......seems some folks are a little reluctant to cooperate. Sure hate to see the forum get out of control like they have in the past
