I believe the calcium comment reflected the sort of fluffy, degraded appearance of the snail's shell -- which I hadn't even noticed when the photo was originally posted. :(

soooo... I was mindin' my own business, doing a search on 1990s Steeo Review magazine scans at https://www.americanradiohistory.com/ * and I stumbled across this two-page ad featuring the Lab Coat Guy himself, blindfolded. :|

I would be interested to observe the sound coming from that system. Upon looking at it, why are the speakers not toed in?

Maybe the owner has a VERY wide head and a tow in is not necessary?

It's just like snow tires -- all of 'em I've seen seem to be made out of some sort of rubberlike compound. I guess if they weren't, they'd melt in the summertime.

I hear ya, but unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant. Milk doesn't like me as much as I like it. Cheese on a pizza... no problem. But straight milk or cream would make for a very uncomfortable 24 hours of sitting on the throne.

    Too cold for snowman-snow. :(
I did sled with my granddaughter, though, on Wednesday afternoon -- which was pretty darned cool.

In the dream, I picked them up and shook them in my hand and said to the person with me "If these both land as sixes, then Ed Gein's ghost is in this room right now". And then tossed them down on the table, and they both landed as six. Creepy as hell.

I looked at the person next to me and I said "NO WAY! No fckin way! It was just a coincidence! Just a coincidence!" I said "Watch, I'll throw them again and they will land different!" I picked them up, shook them, and threw them down and they landed as sixes again! OMFG!

This is the type of crap that I dream about. I wish I was making this up.
