    Ha...on the surface it looks like a bunch of dudes standing around a hole, which it is. However, all those dudes are from different departments trying to figure out how to tackle the problem.

    If you notice, none of them are standing near the edge. Reason being it's a deep hole, and the pavement is undermined. Given the other cracks in the pavement, looks like a risk of even more collapsing. Given also it's location at an intersection, some other utilities are involved. My guess is a broken watermain that has been leaking for some time and suddenly burst or a very old and broken storm sewer pipe that kept taking the dirt under the pavement every time it rained.

    Only other explanation is that Russ took a leak in that spot, and those guys are trying to figure out what the Chinese are saying. :)
