That's embarrassing. These were in Nashville where I travel to on business frequently. I don't see them anymore but I'll check from time to time. Honest. Honest mistake too.
3.1TL's near Nashville for $200 sold "about 4 days ago." No more information about them asked or given.

If the 2.3tl's were closer I might just get them. They are looking like they are in near perfect condition and a perfect base for further mods.
And it just so happens that I have a pair of non tl 2.3's that could use a grill cloth repair, a little woodworking, and, of course, ALL the mods.
If I already had my motorhome i would probably drive over and get them while taking a look at Idaho for a new place to live. California is going to raise the state income tax. AGAIN!
Maybe I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the original Mini Monitors were always foam, they didn't use rubber did they?
You very well may be right,. But looking at the mid woofer and seeing the shiny doped paper look lead me to believe they would of been butyl rubber surrounds. Then there is the tweeter the earliest had a piezo type from what I remember.
I think the MW was originally foam and the PR was doped cloth. I saw a post about this from @westmassguy not too long ago but I can't find it. Neither used rubber. If I recall both surrounds were originally concave, but only convex replacement foam is available. There was also a non-polk MW driver that was considered an acceptable if the driver was too far gone to be refoamed.
I wasn't aware of any that did not come with the peerless.

The listing title doesn't include anything "SDA", many prospective buyers would never come across this add in a search. Shout out to the OP, good eye!
