The ad says that they are tl's, but I believe they are early 2.3's and not tl's.
Not knocking them, simply making an observation. They appear to be in good condition none the less.
you are correct the tl's are newer ones. if you look closer the 2.3 and 2.3tls the drivers are mirrored in other words the left 2.3 looks like the right 2.3tls. the 2.3tls use all mw6510's the crossover is easier to update they are pin/blade closer the 8 ohms so you don't need special amps and other minor improvementsPOLK SDA 2.3 TLS BOUGHT NEW IN 1990, Gimpod/Sonic Caps/Mills RDO-198

I think this pair is pretty rough, if I remember right, one of the badges is missing also. Those things are near impossible to find or replace. These were priced at $400. some time ago and no takers then.

If I had a dime for all the Polk's that have popped up in Colorado I'd be rich. That place seems to be the "Holy" vortex for Polk Audio. I bet in my years at PF if I have seen every one Polk ever made once, I've seen them 3 times. Its just incredible the amount of SDA's that have been listed from Colorado.

Your right, I called and thought do I really need a 3rd set? So I passed but about a week later he said he had a buyer from Idaho and I don't know if it fell through or not. The speakers are 10-15 min away from me. On a positive note, I did trade a set of M10 and LF14 for a set of SDA 1C this past weekend. It was a listing farther north but we met half way and that was even better! I do admit it is very hard to pass up something so close as my other 2 had to be shipped from the east.
