Isn't it interesting how quick people are to comment, joke, judge when they do not have all of the facts nowadays?
I find it entertaining that those without a clue always seem to believe they have all the facts. Your feeble skills are no match for the power of the Dark Side.

So why do you say I have no clue?
I started this thread and you are chiming in after many months and many comments and CLEARLY you have not read all of them. If you had you would see that they all ain't from me.
So explain to me why it is that I have no clue son?
What is it that I have no clue about do tell?
Isn't it interesting how you left out of that quote from me the part where I was explaining the reason WHY I left all of those links.
You know the part where I said that the stuff I posted was for the OTHER FORUM MEMBERS WHO HAVE PARTCIPATED IN THIS THREAD.
You seemed to have completely ignored that.
You just come in out of nowhere and begin making comments on a discussion that you were not a part of and haven't even bothered to look at all of it.
Move along child your Jedi mind tricks only work on other weak minded souls like yourself. -
And without further ado for all of the Forum members who are actually Laserdisc afficionados..........

My son just brought home a DVL-700 from Goodwill...for nothing (he works there)! Checked it out with an LD and DVD and "put it in storage" as a back-up to my CLD-99 (or for him someday when he gets my LD collection). Picture wasn't bad, but kind of sad that all I can get out of these things (with new gen AVR) is composite video.Yamaha RX-A2050 AVR (5.1.2); LG OLED77C2 4K TV(4) Polk Monitor 10B's w/SoniCaps, Mills, and RDO-194 tweets (R/L F/R)(2) Polk RC80i (Top Middle)Polk CS300 center channelKlipsch SPL-120 subwooferAnalog: B&O TX2 Turntable, Nakamichi Cassette Deck 1Digital: Pioneer CLD-99 Elite LD, Panasonic DMP-UB900 UHD Blu-RayBedroom: Arylic Up2Stream AMPv3 driving Polk Monitor 4's w/peerless tweets

I had completely forgotten Carver even made a Laserdisc player!
