Remember when the red lady gave birth to that spirit? She went from full pregnant belly to 6 pack abs in 30 seconds of show, and it looked very believable. They're getting good at special effects.

What did you think of her abs at the end of the episode last night? :)

I'm just glad its back! They really should do a two-hour first and last show of the year. Screw this 10-episode stuff. Have Gun Will Travel did 50 shows a year and nobody griped. So I suppose Wolf is now the embodiment of Jon Snow?

I still think the red, withered, witch will have a hand in bringing him back in some way.

But the Ghost thing makes sense too. If his consciousness is in Ghost, can it also move elsewhere later?

If he doesn't come back, we are really running out of protagonists aren't we? I mean, there a lot of characters but it feels like there's no major one anymore. I guess it would be Daenerys but for some reason she never feels important enough to me.

Everyone saw the Jon event coming but they had to drag it out a while.

And who didn't cringe when the mother handed the baby brother to Ramsey in the courtyard? Yikes.

Well, I guess Jon's spirit didn't transfer to the wolf, although it was cool that the wolf woke up immediately before Jon came back to life. Great episode. Somebody who read the books tell me what happens with the vote now that the old man Greyjoy is dead and they have to pick a new lord. I wonder also if the Red Witch's doings will have some strings attached, although usually when that's the case they tell you before they do the magic so its out there.

"I'm here to help, don't eat the help!" Best line in that episode. So are the dragons going to save the dragon mother? Also are we going to see people ridding dragons before it's all done? Really love this show. Never read the books though.

They have been changing some things from the books all along, but now it's by necessity since the show is, for the most part, beyond what has been published.

They probably get some direction from GRR Martin since he, presumably, knows how he is going to end it all. At least that seems logical but I am not sure it's accurate.

Ramsey has a fresh Stark to play with now. Interesting to see where they send Jon Snow now that his watch has ended. I think he'll run into Sansa.

Yea I did not see that one coming. I'm betting he goes to claim back his families lands first.

What about his Valerian sword? Was that the sword he used to cut the rope to hang the traitors, or is it missing? It seemed he was comfortable with the sword as if it was his old Valerian steel, but for some reason I'm not sure

Enjoyed that. Looking forward to John returning to Winter Fell. Is that right? The dragon queen is going to rule and do what ever she wants me thinks.....

I heard a theory that Jon and Dani end up together. The reasoning being that he is also a Targaryen by way of Ned Stark's sister and Rheagar Targaryen, and therefore has a claim to the throne, and the name of the book series is a Song of Fire and Ice. Dani being the Fire and Jon the Ice.

Sad. But genius writing. The whole thing with the white walkers being created by the tree folks was genius also. Good episode. Wonder if the wolf and Hodor will come back as walkers, assuming Hodor got it in the end.

Wow I wish I had not looked at this..... PS3 died yesterday and that is what I streamed HBO to go through so I haven't seen the episode yet.

I watched it again last night and there is so much subtlety in these episodes. Really good one for sure. Wish they did 25 episodes a year not 10.

I'd rather have 10 quality episodes of anything over 25 crappy ones. ;) Too much goes into shooting one of these episodes to do 25 me thinks.

Just goes to show quality TV is yearned for big time.
