    Ravens gave N.E. everything, threw it ALL at them. This could have gone either way, and frankly, that's NOT good for N.E. It means they can be beaten at home. All you need is the Pats to make a couple of mistakes and either Denver or maybe even the Colts could take it. We don't expect to see a blow out, of course.

    But just imagine a N.E. team that can actually RUN! Then you should be a little worried. That running game was non-existent and you can't keep wining with NO running game, and even if you make it to the finals, against someone like Seattle-with no running game you're DONE! It would pretty much be a repeat of Seattle/Denver with N.E. scoring a few more points, not many more but some.

    Hard to know what that Denver/Colts game will bring. Really depends on if Denver decides they can play as well as they can, in which case they win. If not? Colts go to a very COLD Foxboro.

    Who knows. But "I" was absolutely certain that the Ravens would be ONE tough team to beat. And I was right there.

    The Pats were lucky today.

    They didn't bring their "A" game -- poor defense, no running game, weak offensive line (especially in the first half).

    But that's what makes a great team: Even when they "haven't got it," they find a way to win.

    They can't play the way they played today, however, and expect to win the Super Bowl.

    It's hard to believe how good the Seahawks are, they look to be so much better than the next best team in the NFC that these games almost seem somehow unfair. Obviously any team can be beaten, but it seems like a fluke when Seattle loses.

    I'm stumped, with over a minute and a half left, Ravens throw a long pass down field for the game losing interception. For the most part, the Ravens actually had the Pats on the ropes the whole game, a couple bad mistakes though did them in. Which is usually the case in playoffs, the team with the least amount of mistakes wins.

    The Panthers did better than I expected them too, actually had a chance at an upset except they simply ran out of steam in that 4th quarter. I knew Seattle was going to win that game, but I expected the Ravens defense to put a world of hurt on Brady who had no running backs. Don't like Brady, but I do recognize talent when I see it, and the guy has it in spades.

    People are killing Flacco for that long play at the end of the game, and it was the first thing I did as well. However, people seem to have forgotten that it was a play just like that which got them the win against my Broncos a couple years ago and ultimately put them in the super bowl.

    I hear people say quite often that they don't like Brady, and I have my issues with him as well for all those times that team beat my Colts. I'm curious what issues other people seem to have with him though, because other then knocking my teams out of the playoffs I got no gripe with the guy.

    Now Seattle on the other hand...

    Excuse me boys, but give the Panthers their due. Look at the box scores.

    Time of possession Panthers 34.03 minutes/ 21 first downs Hawks 25.57 minutes 16 first downs. Again, a little like the Pats game. Seattle played a clean game while the Panthers had ONE fumble and TWO interceptions. One of which was devastating.

    Lesson. Don't make those mistakes. RUN hard and long, and keep pressure on Mr. Wilson and you CAN keep the game CLOSE and who knows!

    Seattle is good, no doubt but no one is invincible. Let's see what the boys do today. Again, I don't have much confidence in Cowboy "consistency"!

    Of course nobody is invincible, but Seattle is as close as it gets. The stats from that game last night are misleading, on paper Carolina looks competitive but when actually watching that game the outcome was never really in question. The Patriots game felt completely different, the Ravens could have won that game but didn't. The Panthers were never going to win that game in Seattle.

    Seattle CAN be beaten, but if you had to bet all your money on a team to win a big game who you gonna pick? I bet it sounds an awful lot like 'Shehawks'.
