yeah now come and get them...which is the downfall of big vintage speakers....shipping is crazy expensive...you are at the mercy of what is within your wife's idea of a reasonable drive... has taken me forever to finally get my big set of Infinity'sMarantz 1152 DC- Denon DP 1200, Soundsmith Carmen MKII- ADS L980 - Blue Jeans IC's -
" . . . you are at the mercy of what is within your wife's idea of a reasonable drive . . ." What a great line! Even though I'm married too, I drove from Iowa to Atlantic City to pick up my 1.2TL's for $1500 last month. I love the speakers- they were worth every inch of the trip and every dollar. Here's my unsolicited advice: don't just sit there and dream about owning these speakers- make it happen!! (No affiliation).

If I could put them in checked luggage, I'd take 'em. I'll be there in a week--but no way to get them home, and no storage there. If they were close they would be mine. -
If they were closer, I'd probably have a 3rd pair of the big boys! :-D It's tough to tell the condition in the pictures, but seems like a fair deal. Those cross-over plates look a bit tarnished, but maybe that's just how they came out in the photo... -

Another set of the big boys in the San Francisco area. These look like SDA 1.2TLs for $1000. The seller is even offering satisfaction guaranteed or your money back. Sounds like a good deal for someone who has been looking for these.
