Sorry..it's a piece of wire...when you get to a certain point...thats about it.

I have a 12 gauge speaker cable, I will not say which kind. I went and spent $250 (on sale)...some supposed great cable......NO DAM DIFFERENCE.

No way you could tell the difference between the 2. Now OK...."MAYBE" if your playing some violin thing........MAYBE you could hear something different, but my guess would be NOT. If I changed cables on these "reviewers"...they would not have a clue............

OK, I play mostly rock and blues, but do throw in some classic music.

If Stravinsky, or Tchaikovsky..sound the same to me, over different cables..well I get the fact.....basically you have just been riiped off, because it's called "audiophile"....and no I'm not tone deaf...I've mixed CD's for people , run PA mixers...I know what good sound is.

It's like Boats...if it's marine..you pay a ton....same crap you can buy for cheap...Audiophile.....the price goes up.....

Most of this "sound" is precived..just because you spent..300 plus on a cable.

You won't hear staggering differences in speaker cable unless the rest of the system's wire is in top form. The most important cable that does make huge differences to any ear is the source to preamp I/C. You are not even close to having your system right enough to even think of hearing comparisons in a good way. Until you actually have lived with higher echelon wire sets, meaning all of the interconnects and speaker wire your opinion is meaningless to others who do have their systems at a higher state.<br>

I'm not trying to bash you, just open your eyes a bit to the fact that you are a bit short on having a vast exposure to what's out there. I have had at least half a million dollars worth of just about every manufacturer's lines from entry to ultimate along with high end electronics to try it on. I figure I'm not wasting my time if you have an open enough mind to accept that you may be missing something if your system isn't allowing you to hear differences. The first rule of speaker wire is to upgrade interconnects first of the speaker wire can't make as much difference because the best audiophile characteristics haven't even gotten through to the amp let alone the speakers.<br>

Again, no offense meant but you have a ways to go and you will never get there if you can't figure out the cable basics. cable is the key element to pure audiophile sound, without good wire your money is wasted on high end components and speakers. If I lived close to you I could show it to you in your system, I made a living doing that in everything out to $150k+ systems, it is always about the wire no matter what equipment you have.

I am using Dayton Audio from Parts Express. It is 14ga Hi-Def OFC rope layer design. I am using them bi-wired to my RTiA9's. At aprox . 47 cents a foot I could tell a BIG difference. The sound really opened up. Even my wife could tell the difference and she's quite happy with the stereo in her cavilier!!!

How about option 3. Buy the cheapest speaker cables available and buy a REALLY , REALLY GOOD 32 band EQ and say F**K IT!!!!!!

Cables are a joke. In fact all speakers sound the same to me. Just buy whatever looks good in your living room.
