The one thing I know for sure is that most of the name callers here have no real contribution to this forum anyway.
I will post pictures of our speaker production and will not reveal my company or product names to this pack of slandering dogs!
WHY? BECAUSE INSIPID FOOLS LIKE YOU NEED TO ROT IN YOUR OWN SEA OF SLANDER AND DO NOT DESERVE ANYTHING MORE!.
I AM ALSO TIRED OF STOOPING TO YOUR CHILDISH LEVEL AND AM SOMEWHAT SURPRISED THAT THE MODERATORS ALLOW THIS TO CONTINUE.THE FACT THAT SOME DOUBT ME IS NO SURPRISE.AS I STATED BEFORE ----PACK MENTALITY AT IT'S BEST AND NO BRAINS TO TOP IT ALL BAAAAA BAAAAA

That's weird, according to polk they say NOT to use any type of furniture polish on the wood cabs. Just a cloth, dampened with water. I wonder why?

Keiko, are you sure they didn't mean the vinyl covered cabinets ?? Or...perhaps they meant the newer "high build" poly/lacquer finishes which are basically a plastic coating on the wood veneer. Either of those is fine to do the damp cloth thing on, but, if you have the old, minimally finished walnut veneered cabinets, furniture oil or paste wax is the way to go NO H2O !!

Keiko, do you have any termite problems where you are ? I've seen shows that looked like HI. is really "termite central". Also do you have both the dry wood and the wet tunnel types? When I lived in the USVI the dry ones destroyed some nice native mahogany furniture of mine. (they didn't like the particle board on my old Advents though !)

This seafire character is really spending a whole lot of time flaming up this forum for a supposed CEO/manufacturer of speakers. I'm doubtful that such a person could devote so much time to stinking up this place instead of seeing to pressing business matters. I believe that he is a "legend in his own mind" and little else.

Oh yes. Big time termites here in Hawaii. Ground and dry wood. I just recently had to do some repairs on our enclosed Lanai (Patio) on the house. Never had a problem with termites eating particle board, but the humid climate here isn't good for that either. Rattan is really the way to go here for furniture.

Sounds like horrible place to live

    NOT!!! :)

I'll fill in a few spots while waiting for Mr. SeaFire to post some pictures. We can compare which one is a better manufacturer after Mr. SeaFire posts his pictures.

I actually really like their unusual design, but I've never heard them, so I'm disappointed to learn that they, apparently, do not excel in the listening department.

Why ... thank you, my liege! How kind of you to honor my poor, hopeless self, with your esteemed remarks. I must consider such attentions as a rare privilege, and one of the highlights of my miserable and lowly existence, in the glorious shadow of your most royal personage.

I have not been educated in the etiquette of such matters, and have not hitherto been blessed with the such attentions from the King of A$$holia himself, but, perhaps the appropriate response is: Down yours, your highness?!

Now the question remains: down where, and with what?!

Kex, you & Lightman should really take these kind of comments to PM's. It's not the best impression that anyone visiting this board needs to see. Nor do I find them all that amusing.

    Or at least R rated.

Can I help it if I prefer that we exhibit a little bit of CLASS? You can always go to your neighborhood bar to talk trash & act like a dog.

    This place isn't it.

    ^^^ Thanks, Ms. Cfrizz.

I, for one, have a hard enough time keeping on the semi-straight and narrow so any external efforts/suggestions to assist in keeping from putting gas on a smoldering flame is appreciated. :)

Perhaps instead of 'waiting' for the speaker pics...we should all get together...throw some dollars into the pot and have one of our senior members requisition a 'pair' for a DEMO which can also include swapping various cables and equipment? So he/she can deal with all the questions that have so often risen from the Sea and remain 'unanswered'?

What do you say guys? One of the problems with posting pictures of speakers is that with so much experience on this site..someone is bound to by able to identify the speaker manufacturer...hence heiney9's comment about photoshopping. It will be tough to fool the panel on this one, I suspect the delays will continue. Alas...

Well, I certainly do apologize, without hesitation, for any offense caused by our rather childish humor, and I certainly wouldn't want to be lighting up any smoldering flames in Mr. BBL!

I actually did try to PM someone recently, when I thought they might have been offended by some of my remarks, since we had a slightly different opinion on a certain technical matter. I just wanted to set things straight, and ensure that they didn't think I was being rude or disrespectful. Unfortunately, they ignored the PM entirely, and I never even got a response, so I don't even know if they were, or were not offended. Now, I did think that was rather rude at the time, and certainly not humorous in any way whatsoever. I've rather given up on PM's since then, and any attempt at being polite, so my PM box is always full these days.

You're right it was rude not to answer for which apologies are rendered. But things were a bit heated and it was in the best interest to just let it go, since it all boils down to a difference of opinion.

It all came out in the wash with the now infamous Emo thread!:D

I heard a set of 805's being driven by 1000watt Mcintosh monoblocks and they were very impressive to say the least. I get the feeling though that they would be somewhat difficult to actually live with as placement and such would get on my nerves...
