I assume he meant VFTW, or "Vote for the Worst", a self-explanatory website that has a large group of people vote for the contestant they deem "the worst". I don't believe they have much of effect on the voting but who knows. I find the whole thing very sad; if you hate the show why dedicate all that time to breaking its voting? (the answer is probably that the site makes a lot of money from pageviews)

Next week it's Motown & I think Gokey ought to blow it out da box! His voice is made for Motown!

Re: Adam, the guy can actually sing - he's got a terrific voice - with amazing scale. I just can't stand the way he uses it!

Wow, I actually watched a show on the same night it aired--(I usually DVR it)
    My impressions from tonight:
Adam Lambert - Awesome (and a standing ovation from the Smokey himself!!:cool: )
    Allison Iraheta - Pretty Good
Anoop Desai - Awesome (say what?)
Danny Gokey - Better than last week
Kris Allen - Pretty Dang Good
Lil Rounds - Hmm, good in parts but 'off' throughout most of the song
    Matt Giraud - Awesome
Megan Joy - I like her voice but something was 'off' for her tonight as well.
    Michael Sarver - Boring
Scott MacIntyre - He has got to go.

My pics for the bottom 4:
Megan Joy - I hope she sticks around but does better
Lil Rounds - She's got potential-but need polishing
Michael Sarver - He really needs a good country song
Scott MacIntyre - I'm thinking maybe a good Motley Crue cover song in his honor.

    Favorite Judges comments (from memory):
Kara: "This competition is not about singing...."

Ryan to Paula: "What else do you have under the desk?
Paula's response: "..just what's under my skirt" then delayed realization as to what she just said.:D

mmadden28, your right on with the bottom 3 and Scott going home, although he will get the sympathy vote for being handicapped and probably stick around lol. But if it was based on skills he should of went home weeks ago, the girl last week was night and day better than him.
And to tonyb, I disagree and think this is the best bunch of singers... Theres never been someone as polished as Adam on this show ever..

Very sad to say this, but Megan showed yesterday that she does not belong there.

Adam surprised me with his change. No nail polish is a step ahead.

    Anoop can sing.

Scott....more of the same each week.

    Matt.....watch out with this guy.

I am constantly amazed at this show and its popularity....and not in a good way. My wife and daughter watch it so I see and hear bits and pieces. I usually walk away thinking I would never buy music performed by that artist. The vocal butchering of some great (and not so great) songs seems to be the norm. I overheard the show a few nights ago from the other room and thought there was a contest to see how many octaves the singers could reach on a single syllable word. I know a couple of the contestants have had some modest success...but most simply have their 15 minutes of fame (or infamy)...and nothing more. Just not my thing I guess.

IMO, last night Adam Lambert took a huge step forward & apart from the pack. I haven't cared for him, but last night he was really smart in singing such a different song. & He nailed it.
Matt & Chris stepped it up, Danny stayed about the same & Lil was just eh.
& Though I think that Megan could really do the singer songwriter stuff (Carole King comes to mind), she just hasn't yet found what she sings best & I'm done with her.
I thought Alison did a great job on "Papa."
My bottom 3: Megan, Michael & Scott. I bet Michael goes back to the oil rig...

I will admit that last night Adam did very well. He seemed to lose some of his arrogance with the look and seemed a bit more humble last night. Maybe because he was out of his comfort zone appearance wise but I liked him. Allison is still my number 1.

Alison, huh? Sheesh, for all of 16, she's incredible.

My guy is Danny, but while all the other good singers stepped it up last night, I didn't think that he did. He was still really good, but I don't think he's going to pull it off.

Yeah, even Danny seemed less 'arrogant'. I guess he see's now that he has competition.

I agree with 2 out of the 3. I really think Scott should have went. Matt was a total shock. And he really did not handle it well. He looked mighty pissed sitting next to Sarver.

"Vote for the Worst" has Megan as their pick and it's looking like it's working as she wasn't even in the bottom three! IMHO she is indeed a train wreck as Randy said the other night and it really makes you wonder what all the previous praise Simon laid on her was about. Is she slowly but surely becoming the Sanjaya of this year? lol cha, cha lolol
