I liked Norman better than any of them last night. I wanted to cast the last guy in Cabaret.

I am not going to say I like the guy, but he can definitely sing.

    Well, no Nick/Norman thank God.

Would have liked to have seen Megan go forward, cuz she's so different (and hot). Not a fan of the guy with guyliner either.

Was nice to see Nanny Brooke back though.... :)

My money is on Adam to actually be one of the last 5 Idols standing.
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Ugh. I liked the girl that sang the Heart song. She was great. The best so far I think.

Uggggh. SO ridiculous. They just brought her on to watch her melt down again - tomorrow's show has no viewer voting, only judges choosing, and there's no way they choose her.

The show was not really developed to showcase talent. It was pioneered in the UK as a format within which Simon Cowell could RIDICULE contestants. That format had to be de-tuned for the US crowd by injecting a bit more talent, but still having a high percentage ripe for Simon's ridicule.

Ohhhhh..I thought it was open to voting again. Hmmm. Well there is only 1 reason they picked Tatiana and that is because of the train wreck factor. I will admit that she can sing though.

While i have to concede Lambert is good, boy do I not like him. Everything about his image makes my skin crawl. The emo / glam look coupled with a massive level of arrogance.

I wish the judges weren't so hard on Megan this week; while I agree it was a horrible song choice I still want that girl to stick around, she's got such a unique voice (and is amazingly hot).

I also thought Gokey lived up to a lot of the hype that I wasn't sure he deserved.

Lambert seems to have an old school Metal kind of voice. Actually I can't wait until he does some GNR stuff-He definitely sounds like Axl Rose. To me he goes overboard a bit with the 'screams' but overall not bad. He's growing on me a bit-I definitely did not care for him at all early on. We shall see.

In general its amazing to me how the judges swoon over certain contestants while being overly critical of others (when undeserving)--The judges are really grating on my nerves this season esp. Cara-But Simon has toned down a bit from seasons past and I find myself agreeing with him more often than not.

I think Danny Gokey has major chops. That guy can just flat out sing. Adam has a good voice, but I agree w/those who find him over the top on just about every level. Though many seemed to like it, I thought he should've been arrested for his take last week on "Satisfaction."

Well I just got done watching it. Anoop is done, why Beat It? As for the other one....I have no idea. It could be Michael Sarver. Although he did really good, he may be the one that gets over looked.

But I have to admit, despite Anoop this has to be one of the better top 12's in AI history. A ton of talent, and very diverse talent at that. And it really looked like it was going to be a let down this year, but for the most part I really enjoyed all of the performances this week. I thought everyone did really good...aside from Anoop.

Amen. His all-out cheese factor reminds me of Constantine but with a false humility that Constantine, thankfully, lacked. Great voice. Horrible persona.

I think Danny and Matt are the guys to watch while Alexis and Allison are the girls.

Couldn't agree more. Best 12 ever (And Anoop is the 13th, so I'm not counting him).

Lambert? Yes, he can definitely sing and hit those high notes incredibly good, But think (and hope) that his attitude and looks will weight on him and bring him down before week 10. What kind of role model is a guy with black nails?

All the others IMO have a good chance; the ones that stay will grow week by week, and it's anyone game so far.

I love Megan's voice. There's something so special about her.

I made that same comment to my wife the first time I saw Gokey, but Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert are in the same league. It's going to come down to song choices and luck, but in the end 1 of these 3 should be it. I think Anoop and Scott were weakest. Megan is hot!

i will say i really am pulling for danny goeke. I think his story is good, and his voice is great. he seems just like an all around good guy..

Lambert kinda reminds me of walberg in rockstar the movie....and he is very good but seriously who paints their finger nails?

I must admit this is my first season of paying attention, my roommate has been a huge fan since the beginning and he has finally turned me

Ditto-I had the same picks. Shocked I am . At least one end up in the bottom.

I like Danny Gokey's sound/voice, but there is something about him I can't stand. Not sure if its the glasses or what-seems like he is a bit too sure of himself-perhaps too cocky. I think it started when at the end of Hollywood week in the chair in the Mansion when being told if he made it to the final 36 or not, the judges asked him if he thought he was relevant (or something like that) and he reacted "pfft-I know I am relevant" (or something like that) either way it left the impression with me that he felt he was a gift to the competition-self righteous or something.

I felt the same way about David Cook last season, but eventually he humbled himself and then he came out with some really good stuff and I grew to like him as an artist.
