Who were with me in reminiscing the 80s as Cindy Lauper and Lionel Richie did their performance? Some of these kids weren't even born when these artists carried the Top Charts back then. For those who remembered the 80s, where were you when "Time after Time" was in Top 10, along with "Hello" (hint: 1983-1984)?
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

Congrats to Kris, condolences to Adam. Adam does seem like a nice enough chap, in spite of his rock queen / goth appearance. He can wail, but Kris is a much more well-rounded talent. He can pretty much do it all. I predict they will both be successful.

The proof lies in how many multi-millions of dollars these two rake in.

I'm betting that when it's all said and done, Adam will get a recording contract similar to what Kris was awarded as the winner of Idol, and ultimately Adam will make bigger bank.

Props to Kris . . . VERY talented . . . but America votes for an Idol based a lot upon appearance. Kris will NEVER make the kind of money a Robert Plant, David Bowie, Freddy Mercury, Phil Collins, Axel Rose, etc. can pull down, but Adam DEFINITELY has that kind of star power voice.
