    Oh well that's all right Russ. I only would check it out when some new pics were added. I will survive just fine without it.

    Too bad people can't live & let live. I had no problem with it because it kept the pictures out of the rest of the forum. Since I knew that was where all the pictures were, I never went there! That's all it takes.

    Quite frankly I will have a problem if pictures start appearing at random again throughout the entire forum. I believe it is much better to have ONE spot for them to go & be enjoyed by those who want to do so.

    So unless you are going to ban ALL pics of that type from now on & be willing to police & monitor the hell out of the entire forum you might consider reopening them.

    If they were closed due to 1 or 2 complainers tell them just to stay out of them.

    Exactly. I opened it once, laughed, cringed, gagged a bit, and then closed it, never to be opened again. All it takes is a click of the mouse to go back or close the window............

    That's fine Justin, but like I said, I really don't want to see pictures start popping up all over the rest of the forum either. So just how are you going to stop that from happening?

    Those 2 threads have managed to survive peacefully for quite a few years. It doesn't seem right that 2 people should be able to bring them to a screeching halt.

    Thats all it takes to shut down a thread ??? Are these threads visited by those members on a daily basis ??? If not, do they ever have to click on them again ?? That is the saddest reason I have ever heard for shutting down a public forum thread...nobody was being threatened....nobody verbally harrassed....these were static images that I have seen WORSE published in the newspaper ( Public mind you ) advertising adult theatres in San Fransisco .....you just dont click on it anymore...how hard is that ????

    If pictures worse then these were ok for publishing in a HUGE public newspaper like the San Fransisco Chronicle ...how can they be offensive here ? We need our thread back......

    The rest of us can do that by ourselves. Just put those 2 on ignore. If no one pays any attention to THEM they will probably leave.

    Seems a bit drastic, but no one was twisting their arms to look in either thread once they knew what was in them. So putting them on ignore lists seems like a fitting way of censuring them as they have forced management to needlessly censure us.

    So I am assuming that to be consistent with the slippery slope that this starts Polk Audio's marketing on, that at the next audio or car audio show I go to that when I'm offended by the use of nice looking ladies working the crowd on behalf of Polk Audio that you will end that demeaning use of gender stereo-typing also? These slippery slope deals with unintended consequences are a beatch aren't they? I've got one going on in my marketing dept also.
