I'll share any photos of Hawks and Owls etc. I get a chance of photographing. ;)

A Hawk landed on the lower cable line in front of our house the other day. The birds and squirrels scattered like a bomb landed nearby. Instant SCATTERING!

My wife KNEW a Hawk was probably nearby and looked out the front door. Yup, there it was 25' from the feeding area. Right across from our flag pole.

It flew off after we looked at it for a few seconds though.

Another cool Raptor siteing on our street. We have a Barred Owl family on our street this week. One little one as far as we know. There are some rabbits with their young ones hoping around our yards at dusk. I'm pretty sure their days are limited... :#

There were 2 Barred owls hanging out in a tree behind my cottage all day yesterday. One owl was deep undercover so I didn't even try to take pictures of it. We didn't see a little one either. The neibour across the street saw the parents and the little one this morning.

I got some great pics of the one that was out in the open somewhat.

    What a treat Tony!!

I hear the owls around my house in the early morning hours, but never to be seen.

Only once did I encounter them, early one morning at dusk as I was leaving for an early appointment. Three were flying about 15 feet high toward the heavenly heavily (<<-- learned trick from Mr. Hardy; never erase what your mind is telling you) wooded area behind my house.

For years, I would see Screech Owls out an upstairs bedroom window perched on the outdoor lights around the door. My cat really enjoyed watching them too. Don't hear or see them now.

In recent years, I see more Cooper"s Hawks in addition to the larger Red Tailed Hawks.

The Cooper's Hawks always remind me of the A6 Intruder all weather attack fighter.

Can't think of plane comparison for the Red Tailed Hawk.

I've only recorded a minute or two of a hurricane and when my car's rebuilt motor smoked on the first morning after bringing it home. I also videoed jets flying over my house years ago for 30 seconds. That's about it...

I don't know much or should I say, almost nothing about downloading videos and then posting to a website.

I did think about it the other day though. I really did.

I'm so old school... I JUST got a smart phone a year or so ago. :s
