Here's a photo of Fred Bosch and an unidentified assistant recording the Beatles at Shea Stadium using Altec mixers and two Ampex 350 recorders.

That's got to be as rare as an albino bird. Is there an albino bird?
That Cardinal IS interesting. A hermaphrodite bird.
I'm sure a lot of biologists would like to dissect it.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Yes, sort of. One sees partial albinos, e.g., of birds. The phenomenon is called leucism, and it's genetic, like albinism, but it is not a failure to make melanin (or other pigments) but a failure in the "distribution system".

Hermaphroditic birds are relatively common, too, IIRC. Relatively.

Non Binary? Maybe it self identifies as a pool filter or cast iron frying pan. -

Neato Convair 880! They and the 990 were well built aircraft. Couldn't compete with the Boeing 707's and Douglas DC-8's for a variety of reasons. EDIT: Nice trio of Convair jets. F-102, B-58 and 880, I just figured that out, nice.Post edited by aprazer402 on -
They were fuel hogs (and had a lower passenger capacity than the 707 or DC-8) -- but they were beautiful (and fast) airplanes. My favorites, aesthetically, of the early jetliners. Maybe my favorites, period. The 990 used essentially the same engine as the B-58 Hustler.

I liked all of the early ones. The slightly later Lockheed L-1011 may be an overall favorite. Rolls-Royce engines!
