Spring time. I'm assuming since Bluebirds may have up to three broods in the Spring, these are the birds/babies from more than one brood. (not my photo)
In my backyard, I have seen the first set helping the adults with the feeding of the newest chicks. Maybe a third set because the number of birds was quite a few. I spent a lot of money on meal worms that spring.

Isn't that a photo shoot for the new Dr. Seuss series of books that build on the "Cat in the Hat" theme.

I think you're basically right -- except that cat has more of a soul patch, so he/she/they is/are more of a Joliet Jake, methinks.
