Coming off a strike on Thud Ridge and critically low on fuel Col. Robin Olds ran into a KC-135 Stratotanker that wasn’t interested in giving him gas. After a heated argument, here’s what Col Olds said to the KC-135 crew to make them comply “immediately”

The pair is usually pretty low -- the sound of the high-bypass fans is unmistakable; when I am outside in the evening & I hear 'em, it's usually pretty easy to spot 'em ambling by.

Here's a photo of Sarah Vaughn and Quincy Jones in Paris in 1958. After looking at this photo I think Sarah is singing along with the tape playing. This is based on the expression on Quincy's face, he's looking like he's enjoying what she's doing. That's a beautiful suitcase recorder they're using.
