Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

There are a few U2 songs that (even) I will cop to liking quite a bit.Still Havent' Found what I'm Looking ForHeck, there's even a R.E.M. song or two that I could probably tolerate hearing again, now that 30-plus years have passed since being inundated by their music in the lab at work.

Could never really cotton to their music, but my biggest problem with them is "The Mouth" Bono.

I was actually a big U2 fan, but Bono got a little too political for my liking. I’ve got a concert DVD (don’t remember which one), but he was doing so much talking I finally turned it off and I’ve never played it again.Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -
I like how Bono collected millions for charity and almost gave those millions to charity Overhead, doncha know. 🤫Sal Palooza

Hopefully those R.E.M. songs are pre-1988.
They jumped the shark once they signed the big record deal with Warner Bros. The older IRS records were good, except for the Fables album.
