    then that's what they should do. They can start right here in Greensboro because it's terrible here, especially around the University area. If the laws WERE properly enforced then you wouldn't hear a word about this issue from me. Maybe it is the wrong way to handle it- but it's no more wrong then what the authorities are doing/not doing right now.

    yeah i mean exactly. Maybe i'm wrong about this thing. i re-read the link A G A I N.. and it does seem stiff. But honestly you guys have no idea how pissed off i am about this problem in the Greensboro/Triad area. It must not be as serious where you guys live, but I just want to pull my hair out everytime i hear it. If it's emotion over deeper thinking then fine. We're all guilty of it- and if i offended anyone then i apologize. i've never been over apologizing if/when i'm wrong on this forum before. But something has got to be freakin' done, I don't care where you live.

    I forgive you. Were really not bad ppl on this side of the forum, but if you get in the way of our hobby it can get quite hectic. It shouldnt matter if you have rockford fosgates new 15kw amp in your car, the only thing that should matter is how loud it is outside your car.

    But still, if its enforced for car audio, it needs to be enforced for EVERYTHING, including exhaust systems.

    I understand construction work is necessary and things like that, but loud exhaust systems are just as bad, if not worse than loud stereo systems

    It’s going to be interesting how this plays out here locally. If it does become law and if worded too vaguely then it will be challenged just like lately here with the city and their eminent domain conflicts. The law here for eminent domain is not right and they are working on correcting it.

    I don’t see how Mayor Slay could sign a law to where a vehicle with any woofer over “X” amount in inches in it is illegal and can be confiscated. It’s too vague. Hopefully someone will post what the bill actually will read and be put in front of the Mayor. I would hope that if it is vague then the Mayor will see this and will not sign it BUT who’s to say.

    This should be interesting.

    even if this law is passed, cant manufacturers rate the amps lower. we all know how companies can vary on power ratings (alot in home audio, i assume its the same in car audio as well) I assume this law would be enforced via manufacturers spec of the amp. how the hell else would a cop know the power output of an amp?

    would they know if you have an 8 ohm driver instead of a 4 ohm driver? hence, less power to the driver itself?

    there's too many loopholes for this proposed law to even make sence. its why when people try to govern people's actions this way, its just flat out retarded.
