Looks like a good movie. Kind of makes me think of that one summer I had with Doro in Wyoming, before life became so involved and complicated.

I long for those simple, loving days again. Sitting by the campfire, fishing on the dock, dancing to Tom Jones albums. Fun times.

Certainly everyone is welcome to their own opinions, but I rarely, if ever, hear any **** person ever passing judgement on the straight community which cannot be said about the majority of the straight community.

Also, one other thing that the whole marriage thing entails is shared family health benefits that are (with few exceptions) not offered to **** couples. The health industry more or less mandates that in order to have a you + 1 you have to be married.....

I could be wrong, but I don't think the **** community initiated the religious right into this one......I recall things in my old church (Mormon) circulating that they were urging people to get involved and keeping things from being legalized etc......I don't think this cause (if you will) is something the religious right could possibly keep to themselves about to be honest.

I gotcha homie but I am a member of the straight community and can vouch for the fact that the majority of us that dont approve of homosexuallity have zero problem with homosexuals.

But I will stand with you against the religious zealots trying to condemn anybody that doesnt believe as they do.

That was the working title, but you know the hollywood types, always changing things at the last minute post-production. I still think 'Tickle my ****-Cutter' would be great, if it ever makes it to Broadway.

Oh...I'll be there....I just know when to leave. Like whenever Amulford says "hey guys...WATCH THIS" or whenever Bruce asks "have you ever heard Deee-lite?" and especially when Mark and Russ start throwing "butterfly kisses" at each other.

I guess you've been talking to my wife then?

will affirmative action embrace the **** community? this question takes us back a few pages of posts when it was brought into question the idea of 'desensitization'. if homesexuals gain some legal ground then that is gonna be alrighty with me. but if i hear of a straight guy losing a job position due to it or a **** student getting any special scholarships because of it, i'm gonna be disappointed. already am with the affirmative action that happens these days. i'm half asian and perhaps there are programs out there for me that are not available to 'whitey'? or maybe i could fill a certain job position based solely upon my race that another may better deserve. but i'd never take an opportunity away from another person because of race.

and before anyone quotes that last sentence and equate it with taking away from **** marriage, know this...i have not stripped **** marriage from anyone's grasp. it is not my place. i am one man with a simple opinion on the matter and the race card is different in mine own eyes versus homosexuality.

You moron, we were all DONE with 'it', now stir the pot again. You should be ashamed, don't you have SOMETHING better to do? Re-arrange your sock drawer?

We are PEOPLE gathered together here around a common interest. We've met and spent time face to face, in each others homes, with no mention or callus to race, creed, religion, or sexual preference. If you (or anyone else so far) can't 'dig it', get to steppin. You have NO place here.

And I'm thrilled it does frankly. Talk about what is wrong with the world today. I'm glad I have friends and their individual perspectives. It makes me more 'whole', as a human being.

Sorry if I went scorched earth (and I edited as I raged), but I'm sick of this CRAP. Take it elsewhere. It's a family thing here, and SOME people just don't 'get it'. The inner circle IS diverse, and that's part of what is so effing GREAT about it. Perspective. Embrace it.

    Cheers,
    Russ

so you are the thread's final word? russman -- moderator extraordinaire! not. everything i've posted in this thread has been in good character with emphasis upon tact. i'm glad you supercede me due to your post count as well as your time here on club polk. if i'm outside the 'inner circle' then so be it. eff the circle if you are the spokesperson. everyone here has kept things pretty far away from direct derogatory comments. alas, you get to be the first! enjoy.

my apologies to anyone else if they are sick of this thread. i am in a position where i am being open to discussion about lifestyles i don't quite understand fully. i would like to see if anyone can alter my perception of what is acceptable in our society. i don't want to be one-sided the rest of my life if there is no need for it, if it may be wrong of me. and to brett and db, it is fellas like yourselves that i can respect and learn from. i don't know too many **** persons in my life. you two i respect greatly and have enjoyed your passion in your desire to educate the close-minded. thank you for being yourselves. :)

how is it a character flaw in me that i don't know anyone around me with a stable relationship? am i somehow at fault, or is it the city i live in? i don't keep any particular circles. i have outside life, work life, family life (of which you will not comment on) and club polk. i live in reality. reality isn't always pretty. hope your life brings you many blessings. i myself wouldn't mind having a bit more happiness for all those that i know both personally and those i don't even know exist.

btw, this was supposed to be addressed to doro personally via pm, but got ahead of myself.
